Wolves sometimes come out of the wood, even in cellos.
Impact hammers and accelerometers (rather than rifles and bear traps) help us finding its path in our instrument.
We can then gently mcalm its hawling, or move it in a less annoying position.
Admittance valleys are full of peaks. Each describes where cellos resonate with greater amplitude.
That’s where we look for the wolves!
