Violino “Montagnana” 2012
I started this violin in 2012, when I was still working at the Atelier of Giovanni Lazzaro.
I crafted it in the spare time, at a time when shaping fingerboards, fitting neck grafts and patches, gluing miles of cracks, pouring casts, making joints and ribs were the everyday tasks. I called the violin “Nicola”, as my son.
In a way it’s where everything started to take shape.
